Though the brave adventurers managed to defeat a massive pumpkin construct summoned forth by the Headless Horseman, they were unfortunately unable to defeat the wicked entity before it flew away into the night sky. While some might view such things as a failure, there was at least one less threatening entity to worry about in Eudox Prasmin for the time being. Better yet, with the defeat of the pumpkin construct, there was a burst of treasure from thing which belonged to heroes who failed in taking on the same creature.
Aasa - 6 EXP. Armor of the Haunted Spirit's Closed Casket: An enchanted piece of black leather armor that constricts the body greatly, almost the point of some form of pseudo-asphyxiation. Adorned on it are silver skulls, an impressive amounts of straps/buckles, and strange, almost daemonic looking markings. While breathing and doing any sort of overly strenuous physical activity is very difficult while wearing this, there are some benefits. Instead of taking any sort of damage, the wearer can, for 3 mana, call forth an ancient spirit to absorb the blow instead. Whenever the spirit finishes absorbing the attack, they will return back to the armor, and fight for control of the wearers body for a short time. In the event of something overly powerful, the spirit will be unable to do anything but buy a second of time.
Alexander - 6 EXP. Crazed Viper's Trident of Hate: A two handed trident that is a curious shade of green and adorned with various gems. When activated, for 3 mana a turn, the weapon strikes out on it's own as a three headed snake. Anyone struck by the thing feels the crippling poison of this reptile. While not capable of killing, it will slowly but surely force the opponents body to react far more sluggishly than normal. Repeated hits on the same target will increase this effect dramatically. Perhaps the only downside, is if any of the snakes miss their strike, they instead retaliate back at their wielder for failing them, poisoning said person instead.
Lisaine - 6 EXP. Belt of the Drunken Barbarian: When buckled tightly around the wearer, for 1 mana per turn, this fur pelt with a human sized skull in the middle begins to fill the host with untold power (+3 Strength). The physical changes are easily noticeable, as the person wearing it grows a number of inches and gains significant muscle mass. However, the owner is also just as instantly brought to an extreme intoxication, to the point where they cannot distinguish friend, foe, real objects, and things in their imagination. Once taken off, the user feels incredible muscle exhaustion as if they had just worked out intensely nonstop for days, along with an all too impressive hangover that even the gods would not wish upon someone.
Samael - 6 EXP. Gauntlet of the Magi Killer: A pair of over-sized scarlet metallic gauntlets that have eerie looking eyes on each of the palms. When fixed and secured tightly on someone, the eyeballs begin to blink rapidly, showing their true power. Any magic user that wears these things finds themselves unable to use any spells or mana whatsoever. (Likewise, they drain 1 mana person turn from their owner.) Fortunately, when wearing the gauntlets the user is capable of absorbing mana from foes by making physical contact with them, and can even punch through/block spells with only their hands. For any stronger spells being blocked, far more mana is absorbed. In the event that no more mana is available, the gauntlets cause significant mana burn to the wearer and slam right to the ground with their owners hands still inside, each one seems to weigh 300 pounds at this point.
