Name: Wilros Dagarkin
Birthplace: Tordek
Gender: Male
Race: Dwarf
Age: 44
Affiliation: None
Personality: Wilros is the kind of person who tends to think that the grass is greener on the other side unless anything dwarven comes up, in which case, dwarven grass is always greener. That is if there were such a thing. Anything that had ever been made has likely been made better by a dwarf. Despite his pride in his kin and their works, he is flexible and is willing to adapt to his surroundings. However, he is not so likely to be swayed by opinions that counter his own mostly because his intuition is sharp. He will likely keep others at a distance with a variety of disguises both visual and mental though this particular bubble is not particularly well-guarded, belying a somewhat carefree attitude. One particular area of his personality that does not show carelessness is his crafting skills. He is a competant craftsman, usually more skilled than a human but far less so than an actual dwarven craftsman. He is rather innovative with his work, able to adapt to human innovation but with the skill of a dwarf.
Physical Description: Standing a quintet of inches under five feet, Wilros is best described as a boulder with limbs, nearly as wide as he was tall. Despite being young for a dwarf, his appearance is aged with scars and leathery skin. He maintains a long, wild head of brown hair though this in stark contrast to his meticulously braided beard. The clothing he favors is overly impressive, the dwarf favoring functional and rugged to fancy and fashionable. His belt is often laden with tools and pouches with likely more tools. When amongst non-dwarven settlements, he is likely to don a long cloak and steel stilts he crafted himself to impersonate the taller races.
History: Wilros was born among the casteless dwarves that lived under the mountains of Tordek. Finding that he liked using his hands, he found himself taking up the mantle of a miner. While carving a niche as a mender of broken tools and maker of explosives, Wilros became relatively famous among his peers as a good luck charm after sensing a cave-in was about to occur saving the lives of half a dozen dwarves. It would later come to be discovered that his foresight was not luck but rather eldritch in nature. His various exploits would reach the ears of a sage particularly versed in the Curse and came to deduce that Wilros was marked. The miner was immediately exiled from his community and forced to leave his family and new wife. He quickly found passage off Tordrek, not eager to rub elbows with other elbows with orcs and other creatures that called the surface of the continent home and has been travelling ever since, plying a trade as a merchant with surprisingly well-crafted goods.
