Name: Dugald Wolfgart
Alias: The Witch Hunter
Birthplace: Southern Voltain
Gender: Male
Race: Vampyre
Age: 27
Occupation: Witch Hunter
Personality: Dugald is a very straight forward person when asking questions or interacting with anyone. Though he has been known to use intimidating when in dire need of answers. The man is selfless by all accounts; he doesn't seek coin or any sort of rewards in return for his services. For the most part Dugald is a very calculating man who at some points seems to border on being a simple malcontent. When faced with normal, non-heretical, heaven fearing men and women, this man is more than willing to hold a conversation and assist in whatever way possible. Anyone else however, for the most part, is met with cold words that teeter on the edge of aggression.
Physical Description: A man dressed in apparel of midnight black with silver trinkets haphazardly hanging everywhere on him. His is a strange sight to see in a land where such clothing is usually marked as being worn by terrible characters. He wears a cloak shredded to ribbons that does nothing but add to his appearance. While his clearly worn weapons might cause fear in the average person, it is not that which is the most striking part of his ensemble. Instead, it is the eerie mask worn seemingly at all times. It's almost haunting in it's make. Still stranger is the fact that it takes on an unnatural green glow in the presence of night.
History: Dugald was born to a pair of Vampyres from the southern forests of Voltain, who had no great skill to their name. They were simple people with simple lives. Though they might have longed for riches and power that their ancestors once had, such a thing was far beyond the two parents. Instead, they dealt with poverty and a child that was a surprising burden to them. At the very young age of four, Dugald was left in the streets of a small town in Voltain. Eventually he was picked up and taken, though this hardly lasted long at all. Eventually, the boy was left in the streets of a new town.
The child went through numerous households up until the age of seven. At that point, a kind man took the boy under his care. This strange man called himself Father Gregory, and never revealed any name further than that. Instead of raising Dugald in Voltain however, the boy was brought to a great monastery in Charlemagne. From there he learned many things that many cast off as a waste of time. Worshiping and fearing an unknown creator became the sole importance in his life. This young boy could not show proof of such a creator, but in his heart he felt it to be true. How else could so many men devote their entire lives to pleasing such a thing? Unfortunately, a tragedy struck Father Gregory by the time that Dugald was around 15 years of age. The old kind hearted man had died of natural causes set on by his age. While his death was upsetting, it was also an inspiration. Father Gregory had spent his entire life worshiping this great creator, which was an admirable thing to do by all accounts. However, there was nothing to show for it at the end of the day. There was still chaos and havoc ripe in the world. Only heretical zealots really tried to do anything. Even then, they went about it the wrong way.
So young Dugald took his leave from the monastery shortly after Father Gregory's death. From there, he traveled the world on his own, in order to encounter all the wicked evils for himself. There was great tragedy in many things that were witnessed in these years. Somewhere along the way, the young Vampyre had enough of just passively viewing the injustices of the world brought on by cruel things. Instead of watching it go on, he took active steps to make this world better. Whether that was helping elders with simple chores or butchering worshipers of Daemons using all sorts of magic to further their goals. As the years went on, Dugald became more and more skilled in ridding the world of such evil. To this day he continues on this path. Somewhere along the way, this young man found himself marked with the Curse. Most looked down on such a mark, he did not, it was used as an opportunity.

Abilities:
Witch Sense (1): Passive in nature, this ability does nothing to boost Dugald's combat proficiency. Instead, it allows the man to sense wicked creatures of all sorts within sixty feet. Anything from heretical practitioners to Vampyre's and Daemons. However, this is a shared concept. While he can sense them, they too can sense this dark stranger's approach.
Witch Bane (1): Through his dedication to an unknown Creator, Dugald has been shown capable of being able to bless his weapons. This means nothing to ordinary individuals. To wicked creatures of all sorts though, this does something awful. When those types of creatures are struck with any blessed weapon, they feel an intense burning sensation in addition to the normal physical pain associated with the strike. While not enough to kill by itself, it is a constant agony which will likely leave a permanent wound. The effects of this pain can last anywhere from a few hours to the end of times depending on how serious the damage caused is. While under the effects of this burn, the creatures are capable of being tracked down without much trouble by Dugald. When within close enough proximity to the man, the wound will likely flair up in pain again.
