Personality: Alder is a man who likes to face everything head on. Whether it be friend or foe he is just a naturally direct person who has little patience for people who like to beat around the bush. Due to his normal upbringing in a small village he also currently lacks the ability to read and write, but refuses to let others know this. It is also one of the few things that are quick to anger him, since it was due more to circumstance than anything that he never learned.
When it comes to helping others though he is a genuinely kindhearted person. His goal is to make a name for himself, but it usually falls to the wayside when confronted with a choice to do the right thing or not. He is also incredibly stubborn once his mind is made up on something. If he believes it to be the right choice he will defend it until the end, or it's proven to be the wrong one.

Alder was born and raised in a small mountain village in Charlemagne. It was a quiet upbringing, and the only time he saw anyone from outside of the village was when other's came to trade. At a young age him and the other boys from his village were trained by the elders. The strongest child would later on be picked, and sent from the village to make a name for himself. On the eve of his eighteenth birthday he was chosen from the group, and as a final test he had to retrieve a weapon from a shrine high atop the mountain. After a week in the mountains he would finally come upon the shrine. The mountain and the elements had taken their toll on his body, and he was on the verge of passing out. Just before losing consciousness though, his hand took hold of the hilt on one of the weapons. He would awake a few hours later, hand still gripped tightly to the great sword, and come to the realization that his shivering had stopped. The fatigue from his journey up the mountain, the feeling of the cold sharp winds, and of the cold itself had lessened considerably. He felt renewed on his way back down the mountain, and to his friends and family who were eagerly awaiting him.
A couple months passed before he left the village. Armor was made to protect him and help him in his journey, and the great sword he had found on his test would be his weapon. It was obvious to the village and himself that something had changed when he went up that mountain. Before he left he managed to accidentally freeze several of his friends from simply touching them. Once preparations were finished he left his village seeking glory, fortune, and power. You must construct additional pylons.

Abilities
Flash Freeze - Alder can freeze the very moisture in the air and on other people through touch. It requires direct contact with some part of his body, and if he tries to freeze a larger area than the size of his hand it will thin out the amount of ice that is normally created over a larger area.
Avatar of Ice - Alder lives and thrives in the cold. As such he is more lively in snow and ice. His fatigue seems to lessen while in such areas, and he has a 25% resistance to all ice based abilities (Level 1). Since the cold is his element though, the heat is something that Alder has a hard time dealing with. In arid, dry, and hot areas he is more prone to fatigue and takes 25% more damage from fire based attacks (Level 1).
